Rose Mob Grill Food Truck

The Rose Mob Grill is a family-run Latin-inspired American food truck, serving in the greater Milwaukee area. Rose Mob co-owner Brittany Rosales wanted an homage to her family, with a modern, digital twist. The rose symbolizes her family, The Rose Mob. We went with a simplistic geometric design for its adaptability in numerous applications.

ROSE MOB GRILL FOOD TRUCK

What a Pretty Truck!

Luckily I’ve had experience designing for and installing vehicle graphics. Otherwise, I may have been much more intimidated by this project.

I first designed the identity of the Rose Mob brand. Then, we talked truck paint colors and finishes. Then the actual graphics design started. After several drafts, some choice words toward my Adobe Suite, and a little bit of carpel tunnel syndrome, the design was complete.

My client found a local sign company to produce and install the graphics (I offered to!), and the Rose Mob Grill Food Truck was born!

GRAND OPENING PROMOTIONS

What’s a Grand Opening without a party?! For this event, I was not only in charge of asset design and printing, I was also the day-of party coordinator. Getting paid to design and host a party… right??

BUSINESS CARDS

In keeping with the classic yet modern brand, I wanted the Rose Mob business cards to be standard-sized, but unique. On 32-pt premium matte stock, these double-sided cards also act as $1 off coupons!

MENUS

Rose Mob visits office buildings during the lunch hour and needed a simple, black-and-white menu. It is emailed and printed off by office managers to display to employees prior to the lunch visit. Everyone likes to look forward to lunch!

For the tech-savvy, a digital menu was also created (below). This version is posted on social media platforms or messaged directly to patrons.

CATERING PROMOTION

Needing to boost their sales and gain more of a presence in the food culture of Milwaukee, Rose Mob began offering catering services. They asked for single-sided quarter-letter-sized flyers that they could hand out during truck operation. These flyers were printed on 32# glossy paper and trimmed.

PRODUCT PHOTOGRAPHY

Brittany has a lot of confidence in me. She needed professional photos of her food, not just stock photos of “some taco”. Although this type of photography was not yet in my portfolio, she hired me for the job. They are now featured on her online menu.
